Dreams DO come true!

These last few months since my last post have been everything they were supposed to be!!

New job, graduation, graduation party, new car, SeaWorld and many fun adventures :)

Matty and Izzy had their birthday at Jump Man Jump and while I had to work at the stupid casino, Jason took the kids and I made it for the last hour.

After the party we went to the pool for some spring sunshine!! Love my water babies :)

After a few weeks of applying for jobs...I got one!! I'm in LOVE with this company. When I applied I saw it as some dusty trailer at a dirty work site, but I thought, hey, I can do Accounts Payable, and anything is better than the casino. They called me back the day after I applied and I talked to the HR lady, she asked the usual questions, why do you want to leave your current job, are you normal, and how much $$ are you expecting. I threw out a number I 'wanted' and didnt expect them to call back. But they did :) I met everyone and fell in love, they called and offered me the position a whole one day before my gaming liscense expired. I had called and asked if there was a grace period so I could give my full 2 weeks notice but...that was not an option. So, I gave them a shitty notice and I walked my happy ass out to my car! Ive never quit like that before...my heart was going crazy, I hate confrontation. But that freed me up for a fun weekend away, a weekend I was going to miss because of work. Jason and Vicki signed up for a  little 5k race with a kids run and I got to see Alyssa do her first race!! I was a bit emotional...so filled with happiness to have left the job I hated and to witness a milestone for miss Priss.

After the race we went up to stay in Soda Springs with Stacie and had a nice little vacation...Parker was sick and basically threw up ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Alyssa ended up in our bed and nobody slept. Ugh.

Nana and Papa came up a few days before Alyssa's birthday to give her her present, a new bike!! Such a big kid now.

Next step...GRADUATION!! I really cant describe the feeling, giving my last group presentation, taking my last final (finding out I PASSED Carslaws class haha) then walking that stage. Its unreal. I started college at 18 and graduated at 34 :) I feel like its such a lifetime accomplishment, Im so proud of myself!!

Obviously the kids didnt think it was so exciting Haha

Yay!! Cap and gown!! Officially official now. Bachelors in Accounting.

Thanks Mom and Dad!! You honestly saved us about $8000 in daycare by watching Alyssa and Parker while I did classes.

PARTY PARTY PARTY!!

I think planning this party kept me sane. When I would get overwhelmed with school or work, I would just go to my party page and look at ideas and shop on Amazon for more goodies. It was the perfect distraction...and a huge success!! Glad everyone could make it and help us all celebrate!

She is so funny this year, she did the gifts all on her own!! I didn't have to help unwrap or get her a new one...love this age ;)

My BFF and partner in crime!! We had such a good visit!

The pinata was hysterical! The kids all have their unique way to beat the Frozen head HAHA

So after getting my new job we could finally afford a new monthly payment...and got a fancy pants new car!! Never thought Id own an Impala but its just such a sexy beast...we went from car to car, test driving, but none of them had to space or the power we both wanted. Until we drove this. We got the windows limo tinted as part of the deal and its such a pretty car. I LOVE it. And I finally got to put my NV Alumni plate surrounder thing on it ;)

So we took the car for a little trip! (Another trip I was going to miss because of work, Jason was asked to pace Andy in the San Diego 100 miler and he was going to go alone...but I got to go so we did a fun vacation before the pacing began! Drove down to San Diego and had a blast, I got a huge deal on a suite in downtown and we really enjoyed the stay.

Another fun trip I was going to miss out on...4th of July at the cabin in Donner with the gang! We normally go up for the day but this year we asked to stay up there too...so much fun! Love all those crazy people!

And here is a sneak peak at a few BEFORE pics...sometime...in the very near future I may be having someone come in and finish this craptastic yard :):):):):):):):)

Step one...remove every ROCK from this yard!!
Step 2- artificial turf for the kids play area and put up the shade sales
Step 3 - LAWN :)
Step 4- cement patio all the way around to the hot tub and a path all the way around the lawn.
Step 5- Raised planter bed along the fence...and plants.

Holy shit. Im gonna throw one hell of a Yard Warming party...hopefully THIS year :)
