Something New...

Ive had quite a wild month! We moved into our new house, I applied for a new job, I brought my wedding dress into the alterations, and school starts next month! We have grand plans of getting married and starting our family asap, but I have to be in school in the fall and spring. Allthough I did switch my major from Radiology to General Education...I kinda shot myself in the foot. I am now officially 3 credits away from getting my AS. Which seems amazing but now Uncle Sam is only going to pay for 3 credits. Which means I have to give up 2 of the classes I was looking forward to. Also, it means they will only pay me about $300 a month for housing as opposed to $1200 for a full load. So Im excited to be almost a college graduate, but Im also dreading being BROKE for the next semester. The thing Im crossing my fingers for now is that the VA lady approved my 3 classes BEFORE my 10 year old credits from UNR tranfered over. So, who knows :)

Im happier news...I had my bridal shower! Im really getting excited for the wedding and for he events leading up to the wedding. I have the flowers for my girls done, the invitations printed and the insert for the invites done. I am getting my dress altered as I type and I am curious if the dress turns out the way I envisioned it. I was so so excited to see Jenn and Oliver and be able to share my day with the most wonderful women in my life :) Even though I had to run through my neiborhood in the nighty Maureen got me to chase the damn beagle! Hahah...

New Home

Well, after a year at our cozy 'luxory' apartment, we moved up in the world to our very first house! Its so amazing, 3 bedrooms 2 baths a HUGE yard for Griff. Its just what we needed. The landlady is super nice and is very accomidating, she let me paint the whole house, and is even paying me for it. The inside is all hardwood floors and now Dexter officially has the upper hand in the game of 'chase the kitty' because she can turn on the floors and Griff just slides into the walls :) Thats my new entertainment haha. I think our house now actually feels like a home. We have one of the extra bedrooms set up as the office and tennis room and the other one is open for now, maybe someday in the coming months we will fill it with a bundle of joy :)

The old wall color was this brown. It had so many holes in it and scratches on the windowsill from the previous renters 2 big dogs.

Griff helped mom paint :)

We went with the color called "sliced cucumber" for the living room and other bedrooms and "zen" for the master bedroom.

And I never thought I would like to garden but I have been having so much fun adding some color to the front of the house! Im in love here. This house is so quiet and so freaking peaceful, I just sit in the backyard in the silence and just relax. Its amazing how crowded I felt in the apartment. It was so damn dark and depressing. All I want now is fresh and happy!!
